Pool Dimensions: 75 feet by 25 feet. Min depth 2ft Max depth 6ft 6ins
The pool size allows the younger and/or weaker swimmers to work through the widths and yet also provides the more advanced swimmer with a length distance of 22m, to build up stamina and distance through to pre-competition. The depth complete with starting blocks allows for diving to be taught.

Directions to the Pool:
You can enter via the black gates from Duchy Road. Please be aware of parking restrictions on the tarmac area inside the gates and note that vehicles must not block the driveway leading to the sports hall and swimming pool. This must be kept clear at all times in case of emergency. For safety it would be advisable to exit back onto Duchy Road by driving up the pathway to the right-hand side of the playing field. The exit is on the right. Under no circumstances should anyone drive on any part of the playing field or any other grassed area in the school grounds.
Changing Facilities:
Changing cubicles are provided around the edge of the pool & can be used by both boys & girls
Swimming Class Information
- Small group sizes - maximum of 3 or 4 per group
- Half hour lessons each week excluding main school holidays
- Lessons are £8.40 for groups of 4 and £10.40 for classes of 3 and under
- Fees payable in blocks of 5 (mid-week sessions booked per half term)
- 10% family discount for 3 children or more
Half hour lessons:
Saturday and Sunday afternoon between 3pm and 5.30pm and
Thursday evenings 5:30-7:30pm.
